Scrapbooking Challenge

Cutting it fine for the Merly Impressions Scrapbook Challenge for May.  This time it was a page about Spring.  This time I used the Fine and Sunny collection from Kaisercraft as I love the colours and it reminded me of Spring.

I also used some pink Kaisercraft paint, blue stripe washi tape and some Doodlebug stickers.

Merly Challenge - Die Cuts & Punches

This is my entry for the Merly Scrapbooking Challenge , which was to use Punches or Die-cuts. I used my Big Shot machine and a circle punch to create lots of circles from the Bubblegum Hills Paper Pad.  I also used a few die cuts from the same collection.

Here are a few close ups :

I loved creating this layout and I am so pleased everyone enjoyed viewing it !

Clay

Here are some clay hanging ornaments I made with my children.  It was a lot of fun and very easy.  We used air drying white clay and our playdoh cutters and some stamps.  Once they are dry we are going to paint them with water colours!

Food

Here is my entry to the Merly Challenge for this month about food.

This is when we went to the farm to Pick Our Own fruit and veges.  The kids loved it and I am not sure if more strawberries when into their mouths or our baskets.  So much fun and we do it every year.

For the layout I have used Fizzy paper from the Sugapop collection and Bubblegum Hills printed/layered chipboard. I have also used washi tape in blue stripe and blue polkadot, chipboard letters and alpa stamps.

Stamps

Here is my entry to the Merly Impressions Scrapbook Challenge.  The challenge was to use stamps, which was great as I have a lot but only use the alphabet ones.

I have used the papers and rub ons from the Hey Birdie collection from Kaisercraft.  My stamps are from Hobbycraft and I have used Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pads.  There is also some pink and white twine from my stash.

Wreaths .. not just for Christmas

I love wreaths .. they are lovely!  So this year I decided when the Christmas one came down another would take it's place.  So I made a wool wreath with felt flowers!

It hangs proudly in my hallway and I love it!  I started with a polystyrene wreath (which were only sale after Christmas) then wrapped it with wool, cut and made some felt flowers and hot glued them to the wreath.  Here's the finished project!

Brooches

I love felt .. especially felt flowers!  I had been wearing my hairclips on my jackets and getting a few comments so I decided to make some into brooches.  Here's how they turned out :

These ones have been sold on my Facebook page HairTreatsbyTrio
